Khiara Johnson is a Mass Communications (General Broadcast) graduate of Norfolk State University. She started her budding media career as an On-Air Personality and Public Affairs Program Producer with WNSB where she hailed as co-host of The Kickstart Morning Show.As Public Affairs Program Producer, Khiara assembled and hosted a compelling weekly talk show dubbed Hampton Roads Voices which featured special guest experts and a call-in audience. Her tenacity and hard work rendered her WNSB’s Trailblazer of the Year of 2017 and also an honoree of The Lighthouse Project’s Millenials Making a Difference recognition.
She also enjoyed a brief tenure at Entercom as an On-Air Talent before moving forward as the new Executive Producer for The John Fredericks Show. She excitedly looks forward to establishing herself as a contributing member of her new radio family.
